Key Responsibilities :
This role sits in Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies ( BREDS ) which manages investor capital across four debt platforms : drawdown funds, liquids funds, insurance capital, and BXMT (NYSE : BXMT), a leading real estate finance company that originates senior loans collateralized by commercial real estate.
- Assist with oversight and management of the liability side of BREDS US loan portfolio.
- Manage the underwriting, structuring, negotiation, and closing of financing transactions across credit facilities, loan syndications, and securitisations.
- Acquire deep knowledge of the US loan financing markets and develop financing strategies for our pipeline of loan originations.
- Work with wider capital markets team to stay coordinated globally, and to develop and execute new financing strategies.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with our existing financing counterparties, and develop relationships with potential new financing counterparties.
- Identify and manage positions that require refinancing / amending or discussions with lenders prior to issues arising.
- Assist with training other members of the team.
- Assist in the execution of corporate-level capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings, for applicable BREDS capital vehicles.
- Help improve our processes and tools to create efficient storage and access to financing data.
- Evaluate business development opportunities for BREDS.

Expected annual base salary range :
$160,000 - $185,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
