JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The US Placement Director, Risk is responsible for managing the placement of insurance policies and risk management solutions for the organization.
This role involves evaluating and selecting appropriate insurance carriers, negotiating terms, and ensuring optimal coverage for the organization's assets and liabilities.
The Placement Manager, Risk will work closely with internal stakeholders and external brokers to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Proactive management of processes required to administer global insurance placements including Property, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, D&O / EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, and other specialty insurance.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, pricing, and premiums
- Develops and implements controls, checks and balances, and reporting policies and procedures.
- Lead collection and organization of annual exposure data from key stakeholders, facilitating effective risk analysis and strategic decision-making and acting as primary liaison between risk team and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure insurance requirements are properly addressed and comply with established policies and standards.
- Advise the business regarding their insurance requirements and potential coverage options, ensuring tailored solutions that align with global standards.
- Ensuring effective management of Risk Management Information System (Origami);
- Champion the adoption and implementation of innovative tools and technologies
- Vendor management oversight including service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manages placement team, develops career paths, and provides guidance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance and risk management concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Actively engage in supporting education and training programs designed to elevate understanding and implementation of insurance best practices throughout the organization to foster a culture of proactive risk management and informed insurance decision-making.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the insurance industry. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the global insurance team’s best practices.

Additional Compensation :
- Corporate Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and / or quarterly bonus programs.
