We are seeking a smiling, fresh face to fill our Manager position for a newly renovated inn. Candidate must have a can do, positive attitude!
Qualifications and responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
- Maximize revenue, average daily rate and hotel financial goal
- Ability to sell and use positive customer service skills to rent rooms and market property
- Bank deposits and reconciliation
- Manage guest complaints at the hotel and via feedback software and public review sites
- Oversee and manage staff including housekeepers and maintenance personnel
- In charge of hiring and training personnel
- Prepare and maintain all choice hotels standards for random inspections
- Exhibit unmatched customer service skills and a positive attitude with team and customers
- Motivated and quick learner and adapter to ever changing business functions
- Ability to listen as well as to communicate effectively
- Oversee purchasing and costing food, office, laundry and general supplies and establishing relationship with vendors / suppliers
- Project management oversight
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Oversee and manage a team, including Front Desk
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel
- Manage and submit payroll
- Purchase and track supplies and inventory
- Ability to perform targeted marketing
- Drive results and monitor performance and make recommendations to improve
