We are seeking a smiling, fresh face to fill our Manager position for a newly renovated inn. Candidate must have a can do, positive attitude!

Qualifications and responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

  • Maximize revenue, average daily rate and hotel financial goal
  • Ability to sell and use positive customer service skills to rent rooms and market property
  • Bank deposits and reconciliation
  • Manage guest complaints at the hotel and via feedback software and public review sites
  • Oversee and manage staff including housekeepers and maintenance personnel
  • In charge of hiring and training personnel
  • Prepare and maintain all choice hotels standards for random inspections
  • Exhibit unmatched customer service skills and a positive attitude with team and customers
  • Motivated and quick learner and adapter to ever changing business functions
  • Ability to listen as well as to communicate effectively
  • Oversee purchasing and costing food, office, laundry and general supplies and establishing relationship with vendors / suppliers
  • Project management oversight
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Oversee and manage a team, including Front Desk
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel
  • Manage and submit payroll
  • Purchase and track supplies and inventory
  • Ability to perform targeted marketing
  • Drive results and monitor performance and make recommendations to improve
