Full service hotel is looking for a Banquet Manager to join their team!
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of banquet management experience required
- Full service hotel experience required
Responsibilities :
Event Planning and Coordination : The Banquet Manager is responsible for coordinating with clients and the events team to plan and execute banquets, meetings, weddings, and other large events.
This includes arranging seating, menu planning, staffing, and ensuring that all event details are handled efficiently.
Team Leadership and Training : Overseeing the banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews, is a primary responsibility.
The manager ensures proper staffing levels for events, trains new employees, and maintains high service standards.
Budgeting and Cost Control : The Banquet Manager manages the budget for each event, ensuring profitability by controlling costs related to labor, food, beverages, and equipment.
They also work closely with the sales team to ensure that event pricing aligns with the hotel’s revenue goals.
