What you'll do We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Aftermarket Program Manager for the Duluth Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Business Area (BA).
The ISR BA delivers complex turnkey satellite ground stations to US Government (USG) end users, leveraging cutting edge technologies in antennas, modems, encryption, cybersecurity, and related areas.
In this program management position, you will operate as the ISR BA lead serving Prime and USG customers to rapidly resolve system and hardware issues that could limit customer mission operations.
You will act as customer primary point of contact and direct all phases of post-installation program activity from inception through completion to include case management, hardware return and repair coordination, corrective and preventative maintenance deployment, and data item preparation including monthly customer status reports.
You will be leading, directing, and motivating multi-discipline and multi-site teams to meet program goals. We have a fast-paced, collaborative, and extremely talented team that is passionate about our products and customers.

The day-to-day Maintain broad leadership responsibility for Services program execution including proposal generation, contract management, program scheduling, financial budgeting and reporting, and contract deliverables oversight while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as primary customer interface representing Viasat ISR BA leadership and all supporting technical and logistics team members.
Manage a portfolio of support programs, prioritizing day-to-day activities across the team for effective, timely responsiveness to all contractual commitments.
Capture and track program details in schedules, budgets, and risk registers as part of monthly business rhythm. Embody a proactive and flexible project-oriented dedication, serving as primary customer advocate to internal organizations for prompt resolution of customer issues.
Lead and direct supporting organizations distributed across multiple geographical locations. What you'll need 5+ years of customer-facing program / project management role in a service delivery environment.
Consistent track record of exceptional customer orientation and timely execution of contractual obligations; evidence that prior work results enabled awards for follow-on new scope.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous customer relationship and programmatic details including financial performance budgets, schedules, and risks.
Curiosity. Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts and products. Experience working with subcontractors for technical support, issues management and resolution, and failure analysis.
Able to work multiple issues concurrently and maintain excellent customer service in a dynamic work environment. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of various contract types and risk management practices. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Project.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience. US Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain clearance at Secret level, with eligibility for higher level accesses.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%. What will help you on the job Experience with relational database such as Salesforce, Access, or similar Previous Satellite Ground Station experience highly desired.
Current PMP or equivalent highly desired. #LI-BBS Salary range $118,200.00 - $205,500.00 / annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
