We are looking for a supply chain professional who will assist in the customer order fulfillment process, inventory management, and various general office tasks.
This role will be located in our US headquarters office in Cary, NC.
In this role, you will :
- Process Customer orders from fulfillment, packing, and shipping while communicating details with appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with Director of Business Operations and Finance to ensure accuracy of Customer order information in the inventory management system.
- Receives incoming inventory shipments from vendors, inspects for nonconformance and performs a three-way match.
- Maintains adequate custody of all inventory from theft or loss by maintaining security measures in place and restricting access of inventory locations to only the Director of Business Operations and members of the Finance Department.
- Responsible for managing documentation of incoming materials, nonconforming materials, and return materials authorizations in accordance with FDA regulations & PeriGen Quality procedures.
Will interact with internal Quality personnel regarding audits as required.
- Maintains accurate perpetual inventory quarterly physical counts, and processes all inventory fulfillments, receipts, and transfer transactions within NetSuite within a timely manner.
- Coordinates with Director of Business Operations to ensure adequate stock levels based on sales forecasting / customer needs, monthly usage, order volumes (current, pending, and prospective), inventory levels (current and future), and excess / obsolete inventory management.
- Closely manage the Company’s breakroom supplies, shipping supplies, and general office supplies / equipment needs to include obtaining vendor quotes and just-in-time ordering.
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Liaise with building management on any facilities-related issues (maintenance and repairs, cleaning, security, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to management, as needed.
- Coordinate office events and meetings by reserving rooms, providing set up, communicating with involved parties and other functions, or may serve on employee-led committees tasked with this function.
- Ensure that USPS mail is regularly retrieved and distributed to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with employees, clients, and all community and business contacts.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner. Ability to collaborate with others.
- Utilize time management and problem-solving skills to efficiently perform job duties.
- Maintain an acceptable and professional personal appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of private business matters and HIPAA-protected information.
- Complete other duties as assigned, to meet ongoing needs of the company.
- This role is located in our Cary, North Carolina office and must come into the office on a hybrid schedule (currently, 2 days per week in-office).
We’re looking for a collaborative professional with :
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree is beneficial.
- 1-2 years of related inventory management experience is highly preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and NetSuite
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform sedentary physical activity of an administrative nature. The employee must frequently lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
