JobDescription

Weare looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to help designand implement effective data architecture to support businessintelligence and analytics reporting across Jefferson CountyColorado.

The ideal candidate will have experience working withdirectly with stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics andreportingsolutions.

Thisposition will work with the Business Intelligence team within theBusiness Innovation & Technology department at JeffersonCounty.

EssentialDuties :

• Createchampion and implement data modeling and architecture standards tosupport advanced analytics andreporting
• Collaboratewith analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements anddeliver robust datamodels
• Designdevelop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL / ELT processesusing Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics Fabric and otherAzureservices.
• Optimizeand manage data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database andAzure BlobStorage
• Developand maintain documentation for data processes architectures andworkflows.
• Monitorand troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure optimalperformance.

RequiredKnowledge andSkills :

• Provenexperience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role with a strongfocus on Azure and PowerBI
• Experiencedeveloping and implementing data architecture within a cloudbasedsolution (ex Azure Snowflake AWSGCP)
• Experiencewith Microsoft Azure including Azure SQL Database and Azure SynapseAnalytics
• Experiencewith SQL SQL Server andDAX
• Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills balanced with a creativemindset

PreferredKnowledge andSkills :

• Experiencein data lake or lake housedevelopment
• Experiencewith implementing solutions in MicrosoftFabric
• Experiencein Power BI or other BI tools (ex Tableau Lookeretc)
• Experienceusing Python in developing analyticssolutions
• MicrosoftAzure or Power BICertifications

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years experience in a fulltime dataanalytics role or equivalent using Microsoft technologies.

Prefer amajor in computer science informationsystems
