The Strategic Medicaid Proposal Writers will play a critical role in the quality of our RFP responses, amendments to expand scopes of work, and the efficiency of our sales team.

These proposal writers will continuously strive to increase their knowledge of GHSC, services offered, and industry best practices to develop thoughtful, strategic,pliant responses to RFPs / RFIs / RFQs.

The proposal writers will develop strong work relationships with GHSC's client managers, proposal peers, solution consultants, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support our business goals to win, expand and retain business.

We will count on you to :

• Work on writing assignments varying in length and detail supporting topics across the entire proposal and amendments to expand scopes of work in current client contracts
• Collaborate with Client Managers, proposal peers, solution consultants, and subject matter experts to outline and prepare final proposal responses, as well as amendments to current contracts to provide additional scopes of work
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to help formulate new content focused on client solutions that highlightpany differentiation, innovation, and strategies
• Actively participate in kick-off meetings and varying status meetings through the entire proposal process as defined by the proposal timelines
• Develop a proposal response that aligns with internal quality standards, bid guidance and adheres to proposal requirements in apliant andpelling manner
• Develop a proposal response with consistent brand, style, tone andmonly used Medicaid terms
• Establish client & carrier relationships and develop an understanding of all aspects of the client and carrier
• Liaison with internal staff, operations, marketing, customer service, IT, accounting. Documents andmunicates program information to various departments and understands the interdependence between departments.
• Advise Client Executive / Program Manager and / or client / carrier of underwriting and marketing offerings
• Implement marketing plan for themunication of the client's program to its employees, members or owners

What you need to have :

• College Degree or equivalent work experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Five plus years of experience as a proposal writer
• Five plus years Medicaid experience
