As an AI / ML Platform Architect - Executive Director on the Technology Team, you'll lead the design, development, and implementation of our AI / ML platform.

You'll need to be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in architecting scalable, high-performance AI / ML solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable and robust platforms for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI / ML) applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand their needs and translate them into effective platform solutions.
• Lead the selection and integration of appropriate tools and technologies for data processing, model training, and deployment.
• Ensure the platform supports high-performance computing and efficient resource management.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the AI / ML platform.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI / ML technologies and methodologies.
• Lead technology and process implementations to achieve functional architecture objectives.
• Make and be accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures.
• Manage risks and achieve business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in AI / ML architecture and platform development.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale AI / ML platforms and solutions.
• Strong proficiency in AI / ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Master's degree or PhD in a related field preferred.
• Publications or contributions to the AI / ML community.
• Experience in the financial industry.
