Sand Hospitality is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team! The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profitability goals by implementing sales strategies in all markets within Sand Hospitality.
The position utilizes leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profit and ensure quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Assists all clients in a professional and courteous manner and ensures responsiveness is in a timely manner to all properties in assigned markets.
2. Coach, develop, and direct hotel sales teams to review sales activity, monitor results and develop proper sales strategies and tactics to drive incremental levels of revenue to each hotel within portfolio.
3. Analyzes market segments and develops sales strategies to capture room night and revenue opportunities for all hotels in portfolio.
4. Conducts personal sales calls, prospects, qualifies, penetrates, and manages business opportunities in all markets. Responds promptly to all requests for proposals.
Serve as the interim property Sales Manager at various properties as needed.
5. Collaborates with the General Manager and Director of Sales and Revenue Management to create and implement revenue optimization and yield management strategies designed to maximize revenue and meet budget expectations.
6. Develops methods to utilize marketing, social media and local networks to build revenue. Creates strategic plans around the marketing tools utilized to maximize growth for all hotels in assigned markets.
7. Supplies necessary reports to the Director of Sales and Revenue Management regarding sales productivity within given deadlines.
8. Reviews, creates, and utilizes an annual Sales and Marketing Plan that supports the overall budget and revenue goals for the hotel(s).
9. Maximizes guest room, meeting space, and / or food and beverage revenue through negotiations with clients while staying within established guidelines.
10. Communicates information regarding new bookings, corporate accounts, and other pertinent sales information to appropriate departments within the assigned markets in an efficient and effective manner.
11. Ensures client satisfaction by following up on booked business in a timely manner to confirm the hotel is meeting the client’s needs.
Maintains contact with previous clients to determine future business needs. Travel to the property to meet the client when necessary.
Conducts property site tours when available and outside sales calls as needed to create a trusting relationship with clients of the assigned markets.
12. Educates, coaches and develops Sales team (if applicable), fellow management team members, and line associates regarding sales and revenue driven activities.
13. Understands and applies all hotel safety and security procedures as required to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
14. Keeps the Director of Sales and Revenue Management and property General Managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his / her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken.
15. Collaborate with Hotel Leadership Team and Owner on strategies and tactics to implement at various hotels within the portfolio.
16. Travel to the properties when applicable to recruit, interview, onboard and train all new sales associates within the Sand Hospitality portfolio.
