Accounting Associate

Legal Services

$25.00 per hour

Contract through end of 2025

Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00 pm

Columbus, Ohio (onsite)

What you’ll be doing :

  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Maintains fixed asset recordkeeping – additions and deletions.
  • Reconcile all monthly bank statements, credit card and inter-company accounts and adjust as needed.
  • Review financial records and research reconciliations.
  • Establish general ledger accounts. Manage all GL import postings and general AP entries.
  • Assist with month-end and annual closings in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors for quality and accuracy, prepares statistical analysis and documentation as requested.
  • Work with and respond to requests from external and internal auditors.

Who we’re looking for :

  • Basic accounting experience
  • A / P, A / R experience
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree, or equivalent experience
