Catering Manager / Chef

Gathering Customer Requirements : Consult with customers to understand their catering needs, including the number of guests and event dates.

Menu Planning : Create food and beverage menus, considering clients’ preferences and any special requests (e.g., healthy meals for children).

Ingredient Management : Determine ingredient requirements and set appropriate portions. Staff Scheduling and Training : Schedule staff shifts.

Train and manage wait staff and kitchen personnel. Overseeing Food Preparation and Service : Supervise food preparation and ensure excellent customer service during events.

Expense Reporting and Stock Management : Monitor expenses. Manage stock levels and place orders as needed. Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Customer Interaction : Arrange food tastings with potential customers. Invoicing the cleint and floowing through on payment.

Requirements and Skills : Work Experience : Prior experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in a similar role.

Food Hygiene Understanding : Familiarity with food hygiene practices. Menu Creation : Hands-on experience in creating menus from scratch.

Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Customer Service Attitude : A commitment to exceptional customer service.

Calm Decision-Making : Ability to remain composed and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances. Flexibility : Willingness to work during weekends and holidays.
