The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens, performing clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understanding method principles, performing quality control, performing preventive maintenance, and interpreting results accurately, acceptably and within critical limits.
The MLS works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.

Part Time Night Shift : M-F 10 : 30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd vacation
The ideal candidate will :
Responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens.
Performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures.
Understands method principles.
Performs quality control and preventive maintenance.
Interprets results accurately, acceptably and within critical limits.
Works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.
Validates all data obtained.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical / Medical Laboratory Science - OR - Bachelor's in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Science program - OR - MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
Experience :
Clinical Laboratory Science Experience Required
Certification and Licensure :
ASCP or AMT eligible
