Tucked away in the intimacy of a timbered mountainside just off the Continental Divide
Located in Winter Park / Fraser, Colorado, Golden Eagle is a guest service business only a few miles from the Winter Park / Mary Jane ski area.
Winter Park / Fraser is a wonderful place to live and play all year long. Located 9,200 ft up in the clear mountain air, you’ll have plenty of time to discover the surrounding National Forests, meet great people from all over the world and experience something great here at Golden Eagle!
Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Operator for Golden Eagle
EXPERIENCE :
Clean Driver's License / Driver History
Heavy Mechanical Knowledge Required, including but not limited to : Wheel Loaders, Skid-Steer Loaders, Dump Trucks, etc.
SOME experience for snow plowing preferred but not necessary
CDL preferred but not required
- NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND*
- NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL*
START DATE : Immediately. Winter Season November 1st - May or June 2024 (POSSIBLY EARLIER ARRIVAL FOR TRAINING)
Potential for full-time year-round employment.
Primary Job Duties :
General Heavy Equipment Maintenance / Troubleshooting
IF CDL CERTIFIED : Dump Truck Operation (Hauling Trees / Rock / Snow)
Snow Plowing (Pickup Truck or Wheel Loader, DOE)
Tree removal and clean up
Light construction
Machinery Operator
Light Equipment Maintenance
Project Site Cleanup
And lots more!
Compensation includes :
Monthly salary or hourly depending on experience and position and hours working
Year-end bonus
Limited housing available for out of region applicants
You won't find the big corporate resort atmosphere here at Golden Eagle. We're a 'smallish' family run mountain business.
