Required Education :
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education :
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
Necessary Skills :
1. Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
2. Ability to provide physical and / or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations.
Required Licensure / Certifications :
BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
A minimum of one of the following license qualification / certification combinations :

FL DOH license qualification : General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant
Certification / registration : ARRT (R) Radiography. Within 1 year of hire or transfer into position must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography.
License qualification / certification combination 2 :
FL DOH Iicense qualification : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certification / registration : ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology -OR- NMTCB, -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
License qualification / certification combination 3 :
FL DOH license qualification : Radiation Therapy Technologist
Certification / registration : ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
License qualification / certification combination 4 :
FL DOH license qualification : General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography Certification / registration : ARRT (R) Radiography -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
Required Experience :
Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program.
Preferred Experience :
One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience.
