Are you an experienced Endoscopy Nurse looking for an exciting contract opportunity in Richmond, VA? We are currently seeking skilled Endoscopy Nurses for a 13-week contract position with a Monday-Friday schedule of 4x10s.
In this role, you will be instrumental in providing quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Endoscopy Nurse
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PACU experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and provide pre-operative care
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery in the PACU
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy as needed
- Document procedure details accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
