Barnet and Southgate College are seeking a Basketball Coach to join the existing employed Coach to deliver and coach on the Basketball Academy programme.
The position alongside the existing Coach - will jointly lead the delivery of the Basketball Academy programme as the coaching staff, playing a pivotal role in nurturing and honing the talents of our Academy student athletes at both the CBL Level and AoC Sport level.
The coaching team will be expected to implement a comprehensive program encompassing tactical, technical, and physical and psychological training for players of all skill levels within the programme alongside delivering their Games Programme.
The coaching team will oversee the development, progression and transition of players within the programme and support the player development process of talented players through the quality of the coaching, off-court physical development and also supporting their achievements academically in partnership with the academic staff.
This includes on court delivery, strategic monitoring and individual support, whilst contributing to the wider implementation of BSC’s overall strategy and sports ambitions.
The Basketball Academy at Barnet and Southgate College is one of 6 main Sports Academy programmes operated. As a department and college BSC is one of the most successful and prominent Colleges in the country regularly winning regional and National titles in various sports whilst helping student athletes progress into higher levels of professional, semi-professional or University Sport.
