Payroll Clerk
LHH is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our client’s team in Mountain View CA! This contract position is an amazing opportunity to work for a growing company! Responsibilities :
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports
- Assist with audits and reconciliations
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments as needed
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll software (, ADP, Paychex) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll is a plus
Competitive hourly rate of $28 - $30
