Overview : Technical Writer for Financial documentation, including procedures, policies, technical and non-technical process narratives and other guides

Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide cross-training and support to new team members.
- Compile facts, analyze data, and offer insights and recommendations to management based on findings and trends. Assist in project design and may lead projects of moderate scope.
- Research and compile raw data from various sources into moderately complex reports and schedules. Suggest improvements to existing forecast models and pro forma analyses through collaboration with related teams.
- Enhance the sustainability and documentation of assigned tasks and processes.
- Use judgment to identify meaningful information based on data analysis.
- Display proficiency in systems and tools used to generate standard financial reports on a regular basis.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts through the aggregation of financial data.
- Exhibit a foundational knowledge of financial statements, including awareness of key drivers and trends in major balance sheet and income statement line items.
- Participate in training and development opportunities across finance and supported businesses.
- Adhere to departmental timelines and deliverables.
- Comply with risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, and identify risk-related issues for escalation to management.
- Foster an environment that supports diversity.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.

May train junior staff.
Skills & Experience :
Qualifications - That Will Help You Thrive
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 4 years of experience. Banking experience is preferred.
