Location : Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Duration : 5+ months (possibility of extension)
C2 clearance required : USA resident of at least 3 years
Minimum Required Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree.
Degree Equivalency :
4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree.
Minimum Required Work Experience :
4 years of application development, systems testing, or other job-related experience.
Day to Day :
- We are looking for a self-starter and team player.
- The main software used in this position is COBOL (Mainframe, Micro Focus), CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, IBM Batch JCL, Easytrieve, APS Code Generator, Vendor Pricing Software, MS Office, and EDz vendor product for APS on non-host.
- The position works closely with the team lead on direction and job assignment.
- The position has on-call responsibilities in addition to the day-to-day responsibilities.

Team :
The position resides in the EDIG (Electronic Data Interchange Gateway) team working on the host side with a small team of developers.
EDIG is responsible for incoming and outgoing X12 transactions from outside Trading Partners and Clearinghouses.
