Summary
The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for various functions and support related to revenue cycle process evaluation and financial reporting and analysis.
The Pharm Revenue Cycle Analyst serves as a team leader and holds additional responsibilities and decision making authority related to facilitation of various ongoing work groups and other duties such as creating work assignments, training and orientation planning, back up to manager, etc.
They must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and trouble-shoot inefficiencies and issues, research and make recommendations for improvement, facilitate changes, and be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
The Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Analyst works collaboratively with Pharmacy leaders in regards to charge master maintenance, and revenue cycle updates.
Is responsible for the building out of new products and quarterly CMS billing changes. They also have the responsibility for maintaining updated pricing structures for clinic administered drug, and retail pharmacies.
Job Requirements Education Required : Bachelors in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Related OR 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, business or related field.
Preferred : Masters in Business or Healthcare Experience Required : Minimum 1 year of Revenue Cycle experience Skills Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with others.
Highly proficient in all aspects of the PC and standard applications. Highly proficient in Excel with ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics Strong analytical skills to analyze processes and technology to determine how to maximize efficiency;
must also be able to assist with financial data analysis. Highly productive in a self-directed manner with ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and communicate proactively to management team and staff.
Ability to educate others on new procedures and concepts.
