What are we looking for in our Network Automation engineer?
Title - Network Automation Engineer
Duration - 12+ months
Location - Alpharetta GA (3 days onsite a week)
Rate - $65 to $75 / hr on w2
Must Have :
- 7+ years overall experience
- Python Experience (Hands on Programming)
- Networking Side
- Having certifications will be a big plus
- Any experience with networking protocols - VLAN, etc - need to see in resumes something that talks about their networking experience
- Experience w / building some network automation projects
- Software LifeCycle
- Version Control System
- Ansible Automation platform exp
- Great communication
- Very comfortable talking to stakeholders
- People person
- Ability to handle meetings
- Ability to handle stakeholder meetings (understand reqs, translate it and complete the work)
Plusses :
- Bachelor's Degree
- CCNA & CCNP Certifications (BIG PLUS)
- Experience in frameworks like Flask or Django for building APIs.
D2D :
- Responsible for the creations of methods and tools to reduce change management complexity, enhance pre / post change validations, and collect network state information covering various protocols
- Help the team in its efforts to discover device asset and operational state data through building necessary tooling, and database.
Right candidate is someone who owns the problems and is able to demonstrate leadership and responsibility for the delivery of new features as well as working on complex legacy source code.
