Description :
The Supply Chain Professional is a task-driven individual contributor responsible for the analysis, reporting, and support of the procurement and planning functions.
The primary goal is to ensure the efficient and seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a complete set of management controls (metrics) and recommend improvements to the definition of performance standards and results measurement
- Analysis of variety of supply chain related data
- Create automated and interactive dashboards across supply chain to enable data driven decision making
- Develop reports and metrics using applicable systems to support logistics operations
- Provide support for research and analytical studies and facilitate distribution management team visibility of performance and opportunities
- Assist with supplier enablement
- Monitors and manages inventory, storage and transportation
- Provide support for the order fulfillment process including requisition, purchase order, and invoice processing of indirect materials
- Monitors ocean shipments, costs and timelines
- Support and / or lead replenishment planning
- Support second sourcing and supplier change initiatives
- Support of suppliers QBR’s and their score cards
- Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommends appropriate action
- Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and / or customer data and / or information regarding delivery of systems, kits and provisioning products or services
- Support remote warehouse planning and transfers
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics or related field
- 0-2 years of supply chain related experience
- Relative combination of education and experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to adapt, result driven focus and effective communication skills
