Under the direction of school-based administration, assists in maintaining a safe school environment by monitoring student activity in halls, building interior and exterior premises.

Essential Functions
Monitors student activities on school premises.
Alerts school police and school administrative staff to potential disruptions or incidents.
Participates in student take-in and dismissals.
Monitors activity in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
Monitors hallways while classes are in session.
Submits verbal and written reports as required.

High school diploma or equivalent
Must authorize release of prior employment, credit history, and criminal conviction information
Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to respond to emergency situation while maintaining composure and demonstrating appropriate professionalism and restraint at all times
