UES is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction Materials Testing Department at our Houston location.
As a CMT Project Engineer, you will be focused on the management and oversight of CMT projects, communicating with clients, and ensuring successful and timely project completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project coordination and project management of construction materials testing (CMT) work
- Responsible for managing CMT projects through their lifecycle
- Prepare various CMT testing reports for clients
- Analyze and review testing reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, and residential projects
- Field inspections, such as foundation inspections, shallow foundations, slab-on-grade, post tension, earthwork, and reinforcing and structural steel inspection
- Client consultation
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer ( for the State of Texas
- Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Material Testing
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver license
