Courier Coordinator-(3300102)
Description
Under the direction of the Courier / Fleet Compliance Manager and the Administrative Laboratory Director, the Courier Coordinator is responsible for all daily courier operations of the courier department.
This includes staffing, coordination of route assignments, training, competency, fleet maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Takes charge of the Department in the absence of Manager. Delivers excellent customer service in line with supporting a 24 / 7 operation that extends beyond the North Shore and Metro Boston area.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills to include Excel and Word programs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with a wide range of personalities.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining focus and concentration to carry out responsibilities.
- 5+ years in the logistics industry and demonstrated proficiency as delivery driver / courier.
- Extensive knowledge of the North Shore and Metro Boston area.
- 3+ years in Laboratory delivery services preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A Valid and Current Driver’s License, and clean driver's record per SLM policy, which will be reviewed annually during employee's employment required
