PWM Human Resources Consultant

Build an amazing career at Baird as a PWM Human Resources Consultant on the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Human Resources Team in Milwaukee!

The primary responsibilities of PWM Human Resources are to support the PWM business to provide strategic thought partnership with PWM leaders around the country on market and department people initiatives and to provide counsel related to associate relations activities.

Work in collaboration with various PWM and corporate teams to ensure alignment of business goals and objectives and lead and support the execution of PWM talent strategy.

We currently work three days in the office with two days work from home.

As a PWM Human Resources Consultant you will :

• Lead and / or participate in PWM Talent and HR projects, including but not limited to leadership and associate development, organization structure and strategy, succession and talent planning, performance management, compensation, associate engagement and inclusion analysis and action planning, and establishing and maintaining programs and communications that promote and support a best place to work environment.
• Counsel and advise branch leadership and associates in navigating associate relations issues.
• Facilitate regular meetings with branch and department leaders to discuss talent strategy and initiatives.
• Stay current on trends in the employment practices arena and in the industry and evaluate the relevance for PWM.

What we look for :

• 7+ years of human resource experience with 5 years of associate relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Ability to travel to assigned branches around the country, approximately 4-6 times per year.
• Experience in the professional services industry in a fast paced environment.
• Collaborative team player.
