Hiring Manager - Please provide job description details
The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs total body imaging for
neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within various body planes, which will result in the
production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation. Effectively utilizes all imaging
capabilities of the CT scanner and associated equipment and technology. Maintains the optimal level of patient care, while assisting in the optimization of patient flow and study throughout.
Required Experience
Applicants may be :
a. Enrolled in an approved ARRT institution with an accredited Computed Tomography (CT)
program
b. Recent graduate from an approved ARRT institution with an accredited Computed
Tomography (CT) program, and eligible for ARRT-CT certification via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
c. An experienced Registered Technologist who's eligible for ARRT-CT certification via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Required Skills / Cert / Licenses
- ARRT-CT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) no more than months post-hire (if applicable).
- Must remain a member, in good standing, of the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) by maintaining appropriate CE credits and annual renewal of license(s).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
