Instacart helps retailers build and grow thriving ecommerce businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to retailers across their websites and apps to help them monetize their content and improve the customer experience through more relevant ads.

As a result, retailers are more profitable, and customers lean into grocery e-commerce.

We are hiring a Senior Retail Media Manager to help extend Instacarts technology and talent, so our retail partners can start or expand their advertising businesses.

You will be responsible for ensuring these efforts are prioritized, planned out and resourced appropriately. You will also be responsible for executing on our strategy working with retailers and evolving our sales and product strategies to support a growing retail media network.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Work directly with retail partners to execute advertising rollouts and long-term monetization growth. Applying business performance goals, account management, and technical integration to drive retail media success for Instacart and our partners.
  • Turn strategic recommendations into reality, project managing execution of new ideas as our business expands rapidly. Drive awareness of new opportunities and threats through periodic business reviews
  • Drive the daily cadence of cross-functional execution across product, ad sales, retailer business development, and enterprise technology-integration teams.

Create shared, structured communications to keep internal and external stakeholders in-sync

  • Manage strategic partnerships and technical-integration planning with third-party platforms; work hand-in-hand with enterprise-integration team to drive adoption of Instacart APIs
  • Build trusted relationships with the stakeholders across major retailers' organizations, sharing expertise in advertising to enable their success

ABOUT YOU

7-8 years experience in senior account management or strategic partnership roles in retail and / or digital advertising;

track record of driving excellent collaboration across functions

  • Track record of developing strategic business cases and executing cross-functional projects from proposal to implementation, including the creation of new processes and evaluation criteria
  • Can present to and influence senior stakeholders on complex topics; strong negotiation and sales skills that grow partnerships over time
