Occupational Health Physician Cetechs, a Service-Disabled Veteran owned company is seeking an Occupational Health Physician to provide occupational health and project management services in support of the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) Occupational Health Clinic.
Clinic hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm, excluding currently observed Federal Holidays. The OHP will provide services one (1) day per week / 8 hours per day.
Note : DSCR Occupational Health Clinic is not a primary care facility. The clinic's primary function is to provide occupational health services such as job related physical, pre-employment physicals, fit for duty evaluation, immunizations in accordance with DOD / DLA Regulation / Instructions, OPM Classification and Qualification Standards and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, as well as first aid work-related medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
Physician & Program Management Support : Conducting medical examinations, for pre-employment, medical surveillance, fitness for duty, termination examinations, and overseas deployments Reviewing charts to include assessments of medical examinations.
Provide immunizations and / or titers for individuals who are assigned duties at the Child Development Center Provide advice to the agency for incident exposure or unusual circumstances.
Supervise and direct the clinic staff. Oversight of deliverable and processes of clinical staff Maintain a copy of the SOP at the Clinic and make them available for inspection by the COR / COTR / KO.
Maintain required licensure in the State of Commonwealth of VA Maintain board certification requirement with the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Occupational Medicine for the term of service.
Clinic staff, working in the DSCR Occupational Health Clinic, may be under the direct supervision of the Occupational Health Physician, who may supervise the clinic staff from a medical facility located off site.
Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (OD) degree Commonwealth of VA State Medical License Board Certification - American Board of Preventive Medicine (Occupational Medicine).
