Job Description and Requirements
The intern will work on the design of a programmable high security processor specialized in running cryptographic algorithms and security protocols.
The work will involve microarchitecture logic design in Verilog and low level firmware programming in assembler, C and Rust.
The focus is on developing engines which are resistant to attacks such as fault injection and side channel analysis.
We are seeking an intern to commit for 4-6 months, starting in September 2024. This is a fully remote role, committing to 40 hours per week.
Required skills : logic design with Verilog, programming in C and assembly, CPU microarchitecture
Optional skills : RISC-V ISA, cryptographic algorithms (RSA and Elliptic Curves), programming in Rust
Education : Bachelor, Master or PhD level. Work will be tailored to the intern's skill, experience and interests.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $24.00 - $48.05. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
