Seeking an experienced service industry manager with a background in visual arts to work at a variety of locations throughout the tri-state area.

Must be willing to drive up to 1.5 hours from home base as needed. This is position would be fast tracked into an Art Center Director role.

One River School’s Leadership Program provides motivated, experienced professionals who are passionate about the arts / art education and want to grow into a leadership role with exceptional training around sales, service, P&L ownership and employee management.

In this unique position, you will be prepared to run an Art School through instructional sessions and on-the-job training from experienced School Directors and VPs of Operations.

You will work alongside a small peer group who are collectively on the path to becoming School Directors in new One River School locations in the northeast and beyond.

Your initial responsibilities in this role will include enrolling new students, providing hospitality level service and managing all operational requirements of running a business.

These requirements include : CRM maintenance, answering customer inquiries, inbound and outbound phone calls, front desk duties, scheduling lessons and tours, attending marketing events and coordinating gallery events.

As you gain experience and training your responsibilities will expand to include employee management, expense management and P&L ownership;

preparing you to grow into the role of a School Director.

Flexible on working location and willing to drive 1.5 hours if needed

One River School is a network of art schools across 6 states. The company will be opening units throughout the US over the next 5 years.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, four year college or university required

Majors in business, art history, and marketing / communications preferred

2+ years experience in a professional setting working with customers / clients

Strong communication skills required

Ability to work one weekend day

Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners, staff, remote colleagues and others.
