MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accomplish goals.
  • Directs activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Studies market to determine customer needs, and guides sales strategy and pricing.
  • Charged with hiring, training, coaching, and developing a world class sales team.
  • Assigns accounts / territories to Account Managers.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting Account Managers with building relationships, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Analyzes data to formulate strategy and assist in development of policy and best practices.
  • Drives profit improvement through collaboration opportunities with customers and internally with manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing.

  • Represents company at trade association meetings and conferences to lead sales growth.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Account Managers and other subject matter expert resources.
  • Acts as liaison between sales and other functional areas in the business.
  • Sets and controls expense budgets.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas for growth.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

EDUCATION :

Required : Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year ; or eight years’ sales experience with at least five years in sales management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
