The Role of the Linen Runner

The Linen Runner is tasked with the efficient receipt and distribution of stock, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

This role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and timely delivery to various departments, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the Housekeeping department.

Key Functions

Receives incoming shipments according to Company Policy.

Immediately reports any discrepancies to Manager, completing the appropriate paperwork.

Stores stock in allocated storage area neatly and immediately upon receipt.

Processes stock requests from stores according to company policies.

Delivers stock according to delivery schedule.

Assists associates in lifting or moving stock as necessary.

Carries out inventory checks are required and according to company procedure.

Keeps linen room clean and linen neatly on shelves at all times.
