Summary :
Our award-winning client is seeking a General / Mechanical Engineer to join their team.As a General / Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, estimation, and integration of large-scale HVAC systems.
You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all projects meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Your expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, sizing, and quoting processes for complex HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design and ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
- Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
- Review and interpret project specifications to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
- Provide hands-on leadership during the fabrication process.
Required Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Proven 5+ years of experience in HVAC systems, with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering integration.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams and overseeing complex projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards for hazardous locations (NFPA 496) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications such as NATE Certification, HVAC Excellence Certification, or R-410A Certification.
- Experience developing and creating quotes and estimates for industrial or commercial projects.
