Basic Function : Providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers. Processing and managing orders to ensure accuracy and the highest service levels.
Communication within Customer Service Team, across departments and with customers in order to provide accurate and timely information.
Major Responsibilities / Activities :
- Develop adequate understanding of Cerro Wire products and processes
- Processing of EDI / House Account orders with speed and accuracy as well as cross-checking orders for other CSRs as needed
- Managing customer orders for reps / customers
- Order checking and maintenance
- Managing backorder flow to ensure customer satisfaction
- Coordinating delivery lead times, expedite and relaying of information to appropriate parties
- Assisting Reps / Customers by providing inventory checks and production lead time information
- Assisting in processing RMA / CMA’s for Customer Service Team and communication of production related issues to appropriate personnel for evaluation and action
- Providing back-up departmental support as needed
- Communication across internal departments and identification of issues and appropriate reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associates Degree or higher
- Proficiency in Windows Office Suite products
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Sage ERP Products
