Job Overview :

As a Pest Control Service Technician at Remotus Pest Control, you will play a critical role in protecting homes and businesses from unwanted pests.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality pest control solutions by identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations.

This role is customer-facing and involves a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and adherence to our company’s core values.

Key Responsibilities :

Inspection & Treatment : Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest infestations and determine treatment plans.

Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively according to industry standards.

• Preventive Measures : Educate customers on proactive pest prevention strategies, addressing both current issues and potential risks, including factors like plant growth and structural vulnerabilities.
• Customer Interaction : Communicate with clients to explain findings, treatment options, and follow-up recommendations.

Always prioritize customer satisfaction and aim for a "customer obsession" mindset.

• Documentation : Maintain accurate service records, including treatment plans, pest activity reports, and follow-up schedules.
• Problem-Solving : Diagnose complex pest problems, including those involving wood-destroying organisms, ants, rodents, and other pests commonly found in Central Florida and Myrtle Beach areas.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols, including the correct handling and application of pest control chemicals and products.

Ensure that all work complies with company standards and local regulations.

Teamwork : Collaborate with other team members to support larger projects and service needs. Respect and contribute to the team environment, aligning with our core value that "everyone is a team player."

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pest control certification (state licensing) or ability to obtain certification within the probationary period.
• Prior pest control experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
