CAD Designer - Drafter
Department : Engr, Order Admin & Logs Location : , WI
Interstate Assembly System's is a fast paced production and design of customer vehicle up-fits and high-quality assemblies built to your precise specification.
Our engineering team works directly with our customers on concepts, designs, and product development and we are looking for a CAD Designer or Drafter to add to our team at our Marshfield Wisconsin location.
Job Duties :
- Create detailed truck models and layout drawings per customer requirements utilizing SolidWorks CAD software.
- Create / maintain installation drawings utilizing SolidWorks CAD Software
- Create new manufactured assemblies and drawings for fabrication.
- Perform Engineering Change Notices
- Interact with Engineering, Technicians, Parts, Procurement to create / maintain bills of materials in our JDE system.
- Utilize JDE to create part numbers following the proper naming process and data entry requirements.
- Timely execution of responsibilities

Requirements :
- 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of drawing standards
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate proficiently and professionally.
- ERP system experience a plus, but not required.
Education :
- High School Diploma (Required)
- CAD Certificate or associate degree in engineering / Design / Drafting (Preferred)
