Description

Job Responsibilities

Serve as a library liaison to provide personalized services to assigned faculty, including in-depth research support, identification of new resources, and current awareness monitoring.

Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, staff, and visitors via telephone, email, chat, and in-person meetings.

Participate in all instructional activities, including trainings for classes, clinics, and journals.

Create and update electronic research guides and tutorials.

Serve on library and law school working groups and committees.

Pursue professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Master's degree from an ALA-accredited school of information or library science program and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

A strong service orientation

Experience performing legal research in an academic, court, or law firm setting.

Experience using and familiarity with emerging legal information technologies.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.

$51,824.00 - $83,000.00 Annual Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
