What you'll be doing
- Synthesize information and perform analysis by processing data, reconciling against multiple data sources / systems, and being creative in finding new ways to efficiently manage, present, and interpret.
- Provide expertise in converting Business Requirements to Technical Requirements.
- Demonstrate a disciplined approach with effective execution; deployment, and follow-through to ensure achievement of results.
- Collaborate with business (and sometimes IT) stakeholders to evaluate the current state of data, develop tactical plans to improve data management, and resolve technical challenges impeding data availability, quality, metric consistency, and credibility.
- Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and / or departmental / enterprise initiatives.
- Serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal / external stakeholders on assignments / projects.
- Generate reports, adhocs, and aids in transforming financial data into meaningful information to drive informed dialog and strategy development with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and develop procedures for increasing the quality and accuracy of information from multiple data sources.
- Maintain an understanding of how the data contained in the various systems are utilized and is able to triangulate various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.
What we’re looking for
Must-Haves :
- 4 year / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative coursework. Relevant coursework must have a concentration in analytics, statistical modeling, or related quantitative disciplines.
- 1 - 3+ Years experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- Strong SQL experience and familiarity with data warehouse structures and concepts.
- Technical and business intelligence skills, including experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects and MicroStrategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills / experience with Excel specifically.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and research skills required
- Experience working with, and in support of, team members to solve a problem.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal / written)
Nice-to-have :
Experience in the financial services domain

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $92,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
