A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Analyst to provide advanced bioinformatics support for studies of ophthalmic diseases.
Key Responsibilities : Perform upstream processing of omics data, including QC, normalization, and exploratory data analysisConduct downstream analysis of bulk, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomic dataAnalyze proteomics or other data modalities as needed, and integrate multi-modal dataRequired Qualifications : PhD in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Genomics, or a related field;
or MS with at least 6 years of experienceExperience with single-cell and / or spatial transcriptome QC and analysis using tools like Seurat or ScanpyProficiency in bulk RNAseq, proteomic, and / or metabolomic data processing and analysisStrong facility with R for data exploration and statistical analysisExperience with high-performance computing (HPC) and job submission systems
