Job Description : The Director of Engineering and Deployment is responsible for supervising the engineering aspects of new job planning, maintenance, scheduling, tracking, and readiness of FAS and Gas equipment as part of the OFS division of Atlas Oil.
This position acts as a liaison between Sales and Operations to improve planning for new rental customers and Atlas Oil serviced jobs.
The Director reports to the President of OFS.
Responsibilities :
- Engineer and plan job proposals
- Implement an engineered plan.
- Refine the current maintenance program for Preventative and Annual Maintenance on all FAS and Gas equipment.
- Refine and oversee an asset tracking within Fleetio.
- Oversee the Victoria FAS shop and Gas Solutions asset maintenance and deployment schedules.
- Coordinates appropriate maintenance and tracks with Atlas Oil personnel not in Victoria to ensure all FAS and Gas units are within spec and all repairs are current
- Manage relationships with rental customers.
- Manage inventory parts system within Fleetio
- Lead a team to Innovate and improve equipment.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Review and reduce operating costs (hours, travel, and third party cost)
- Ensure billing and invoicing is correct, and completed in a timely manner, and looks professional for invoices out to rental customers and FAS LLC.
- Oversee an after-hours emergency response program for rental customers.
- Host and facilitate weekly Asset Deployment meeting.
- Provides technical leadership, training, oversight, and direction to fellow staff members.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
