Avionics Test Engineering is seeking to fill an Engineering Co-op position with a talented individual who is working toward a BSEE, BSCmptrE or BSSwE degree.
Test Engineering offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. We serve internal customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, as well as external customers domestic and international.
The primary responsibility for this position is to assist test engineers in developing and maintaining test solutions. The student who fills this position must have strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
This position will utilize hardware and software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test stations. Typical test stations include components such as switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, power supplies and other RF or digital related equipment.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May / June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

Primary Responsibilities :
Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team
Review product designs and analyze test requirements
Design test fixtures and interconnects
Develop automated test software and user interfaces
Verify test results are accurate, repeatable and reliable
Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers
Plan and manage tasks effectively
Software skills in LabView, C++ and C# are a plus
Basic Qualifications :
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
