Certification Details
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- Traveler must pass the BCA testing during the first week of assignment.
- Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.
Job Details
- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.
- Please do not allow candidates to contact facility.
- 2 years experience current required in a 15 plus bed intensive care unit required.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
Job Requirements

- Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
- Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Schedule Information
- 12 hour varied position - Start time - 0700 / 1900
- On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed - At alternate location
- Will float to progressive care unit and med / surg.
- Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.
- Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

Additional Details
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
