Job Summary : The Assistant Recruiter supports the full cycle recruitment of vacant positions and coordinates recruitment-related functions for a growing organization of 300+ employees.
The Assistant Recruiter works closely with the Recruiter and collaboratively with managers, coaching and assisting them through the recruitment process.
The role will provide administrative support for ensuring excellence in delivering the recruitment and onboarding program, while maintaining adherence to relevant policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws.
The ideal candidate needs to be detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and foster an outstanding experience for candidates and our employees.

Support the Recruiter in m anaging the full recruitment cycle in accordance with employment laws, from helping managers define roles to job posting, candidate sourcing & screening, guide hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Responsible for reaching out to candidates for assigned requisitions that support the diverse functions within the organization.
Highly efficient in advertising requisitions on social media and sharing communication and promotional materials for talent acquisition.
Work closely with the Recruiter to d evelop innovative and creative recruitment and sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidate pipelines.
Coordinate training programs for panel interviewers, hiring managers, and leadership. Create and maintain materials to help hiring managers to understand requirements and workflow of the recruitment process.
Screen candidates by reviewing job application and resumes and performing phone screening and reference checks as needed.
Draft, review, and maintain up-to-date job descriptions, tracking, and recruitment-related records. Provide administrative support to the onboarding process.
Research, register, and host community and educational outreach events, such as career fairs, panels, and other similar type events to build upon candidate pool(s).

g., Recruitment & Selection, Onboarding / offboarding, etc.) Sound knowledge of labor regulations Strong computer skills in word, excel and data processing Preferred Qualifications : Experience in recruitment and onboarding Strong knowledge of HR laws, principles, and practices Experience or education in California and Federal HR laws Experience with various HRIS software(s), specifically JazzHR, Paylocity, etc.
Bilingual or Biliterate in English and Spanish Physical Description : Able to work in an office most of the time. Exposure to office electronic equipment, interior lighting, and heating / AC.
