The Digital Sales organization is an integral revenue growth engine for F5 and is poised to lead on transformational priorities such as F5’s Distributed Cloud platform.

The WW Digital Sales, Director of Operations and Strategy is a strategic role responsible for WW strategy, planning, and operational execution in support of the worldwide Digital Sales and BDR teams.

This role is at the forefront of defining and establishing cutting-edge, opportunistic sales motions using AI and automation, digital marketing, and data analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage.

This position will manage a team of globally dispersed operations professionals and partner closely with Digital Sales leaders around the world, Sales Operations leadership, and the Marketing organization.

The successful candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and hands-on execution, with a deep understanding of global sales operations and market dynamics.

Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership and Leadership :

  • Manage and coach a team of sales operations professionals that will be located in key sales hubs around the world.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to the VP, WW Digital Sales & Sales Operations, and Theater Digital Sales leaders, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive DTAM & BDR business success.
  • Design and implement globally consistent Demand Response and sales motions, ensuring alignment and execution between Sales and Marketing at a global level.

Sales Motion and Enablement :

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic sales motions, working closely with DTAM & BDR leads to ensure adoption and effective execution by sales teams.
  • Build and deliver a consistent BDR sales process, from sales enablement to tools implementation, aligned with key metrics and industry best practices.
  • Develop and execute global sales enablement strategies that align with business objectives, improving sales processes, methodologies, and tools across all theaters.

Territory and Market Optimization :

  • Develop proposals for market opportunities, including evaluating new geographies and market segments, optimizing territory planning, and setting quotas.
  • Use data-driven insights to enhance territory alignment, resource allocation, and sales effectiveness.

Global Collaboration and Best Practices :

  • Lead cross-functional and cross-region collaboration, sharing best practices, frameworks, and toolkits to drive broader success within the global sales organization.
  • Work closely with theater teams to tailor global initiatives to local market conditions, ensuring relevance and impact.

Sales Performance and Analysis :

  • Establish and define key KPIs and data sets to monitor Demand Response and sales performance, driving growth and productivity.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, refining metrics and KPIs to align with company goals.
  • Maintain and enhance sales force automation systems, costing models, and margin management tools to effectively monitor and manage revenue and expenses.

Executive Support and Continuous Improvement :

  • Support the VP, WSales & Sales Operations in preparing key presentations for global and theater audiences, distilling complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Act as a key contributor to the strategic planning process, providing insights that shape the future direction of the DTAM & BDR business.
  • Recommend and implement revisions to existing reports and develop new tools to enhance visibility into sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and deploy new and improved BDR processes and methods to optimize pipeline building, customer engagement, and revenue potential.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is : $175,602.00 - $263,404.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.

The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
