Staff Pharmacist

Base Salary $120-140k

Position Overview : As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our pharmacy.

You will collaborate with the PIC and other team members to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to our customers.

Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of pharmacy management and patient care.

Scope of Supervision : Pharmacy Technicians

Responsibilities :

• Collaborative Goal Setting : Work closely with the PIC to establish and monitor pharmacy goals, ensuring consistent progress and reporting.
• Business Growth : Contribute to the development and implementation of growth initiatives for the pharmacy.
• Financial Oversight : Provide input on pharmacy finances and budget management.
• Operational Excellence : Oversee internal pharmacy processes and operations to maintain high standards of service.
• Customer-Centric Approach : Hold our pharmacy team accountable for decisions that impact our customers.
• Team Engagement : Conduct regular meetings with pharmacy staff to foster cooperation and goal achievement.
• Communication : Maintain open communication with all pharmacy staff members, seeking their input and collaboration.
• Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with practitioners to enhance organizational processes and improve patient outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and accreditation standards while implementing best practices.
• Delegation : Delegate responsibilities as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of pharmacy operations.
• Pharmacist Duties : Perform standard pharmacist duties as required.
• Quality Assurance : Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies and take appropriate actions based on recommendations.
• Performance Improvement : Engage in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by Human Resources.
• Professional Development : Participate in professional and industry organization activities, as well as in-service and continuing education programs.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks : Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the President / PIC

Minimum Qualifications :

• Pharmacy degree and State Licensure.
• Strong organizational and delegation skills.
• Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
• Current knowledge of applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements :

The physical requirements necessary for this position include :

• Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
• Using hands to operate office equipment and vehicles.
• Occasional lifting and / or moving of up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
