Customer Service Job Description
Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm with an hour for lunch. The pay is $18.00 / hour. Product line and territories / sales reps will be assigned. Answer heavy volume of incoming customer calls and emails. Check order status. When will it ship; when did it ship. Short shipments. Defective Products. Add to existing orders. Questions about product; product dimensions. Product availability. Enter orders using custom order-entry software. Utilize custom software to ensure on time, efficient shipping. Interact with shipping department and manufacturing to assure customer satisfaction. Follow up on customer order changes. Enter replacement part orders using call log. Enter information for credits using call log. Enter information for RA and replacement order. Enter catalog / price list requests using call log. Handle minor freight issues.
Qualifications : Ability to multi task answer phone and enter orders. Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet daily deadlines. Experience in providing quality customer service. Superior phone and email etiquette verbal and written communication skills. Experience with high volume email correspondence. Excellent attendance record. Ability to use various office machines. Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet. Experience in furniture is preferred but not required.
Other : Hours are 8 to 5 with 1 hour for lunch. Pay to be determined with education and experience plus benefits after 90 days.
