If you are looking to build or begin a career in the sports industry, start with the Chicago Union! We are looking to bring on sports photographers that will be responsible for capturing player headshots and shooting action in games, practices, and team events, all of which will be used in team posters, website, social media and graphic design.
This is a great opportunity to bolster the resume and get some important sport related experience!
Responsibilities include :
Take photos / videos at team practices, games, and events for use in graphicsEdit photos and videos to sharpen action shots and create player graphicsDevelop stats graphics and other creative visuals for social mediaPrepare social media posts using content producedDevelop graphics to be used in marketing emailsOther tasks as needed
The Sports Photographers are paid contract positions and will likely require less than 5 hours per week between January and August.
Must be able to get to Evanston regularly for games on weekends, and occasionally to Chicago for practices, tryouts, and other events.
Willingness to travel with the team on away game weekends is a plus, but not required.
