Canard is a food and wine-centric restaurant from Gabriel Rucker & Andy Fortgang. We're located in the heart of the Central Eastside area of Portland right next door to our sister restaurant Le Pigeon.
We are a fast-paced spot with creative food, a full bar, and an expansive selection of fantastic wines from around the world.
We're looking for a passionate & professional person to join our staff as a full time server & bartender.
What we're looking for :
- Availability 4 nights a week, weekend availability is necessary
- Ability to cover shift when needed
- 3+ years of bartending experience
- Energetic, hospitable, and professional service mentality
- Working knowledge of wines from around the world
- Strong knowledge & ability re : wine service
- Strong knowledge of cocktails & spirits
- Passion and understanding for / of food
What you'll be doing :
- Maintaining a large section of tables / bar seats
- Contributing to bar and spirits program
- Working a high volume cocktail bar
- Setting up and breaking down dining areas and bar
- Greeting guests, taking orders, running food, polishing glassware, and a little bit of everything else involved with working a busy dining room
- Interacting with team members both front and back of house
